Be informed - Important year for school facilities

The Deliberative Session (First Session) for the 2012-2013 School Warrant will be held on Wednesday, February 8th at 7 PM in the Gymnasium at the Jr/Sr High School. Voting on the School Warrant (Second Session) will take place on Tuesday, March 13th. The School Board and the Budget Committee have worked hard to examine the proposed operating budget and other warrant articles, and their work is nearly finished.

Special Olympics of NH - Penguin Plunge

On February 4th our Newmarket team of 29 students and 2 faculty with be participating in the Penguin Plunge with other N.H. high school students. Plungers will be jumping into the ocean to raise money for the Special Olympics. In order to take the plunge, each participant must raise at least $125.00. Our goal is to raise more than last year's team did. That means that as a team, we must raise $3,000. The funds will sponsor the Newmarket Special Olympics Team. Your donation is greatly appreciated. Checks should be made payable to "Special Olympics of NH" (SONH) or online donations are accepted at http://www.firstgiving.com/fundraiser/jill-breton/4th-annual-high-school-plunge.
