School Calendar Update & NH Primary Day

Dear Newmarket parents, guardians, educators, students, and community members,

At last night’s Newmarket School Board meeting, I announced that the New Hampshire Presidential Primary has been set for Tuesday, January 23, 2024. Newmarket Jr/Sr High is the polling location for the town so the schools will be closed.

For students and families, January 23rd will not be a school day. Staff will have a professional development day focusing on the implementation of our newly adopted Vision of a Graduate.

Please note, the 23-24 calendar includes a previously scheduled teacher professional day on Tuesday, January 16th. This day will remain in the calendar creating 2 PD days in the month of January. January 23rd will be a PD day for all staff.
