End of School Year and More

Dear Newmarket parents, guardians, staff, and community members,

Congratulations on the completion of another successful school year. Over the last few weeks, watching our students experience the many wonderful end-of-year activities that make the Newmarket school community so special has been fun. The project fairs, field days, and transition activities were great to see. Thank you to all of the teachers, parents, and community members who make these activities possible.

I would like to offer a special note of congratulations to the Newmarket Classes of 2024, 2028, and 2031.

To the class of 2024, I offer congratulations on completing your journey through the Newmarket Schools. Good luck to you all as you transition to life after high school. We are all very proud of you and know you will accomplish great things.

Congratulations to the class of 2028 on becoming 9th graders. Hearing your teachers describe you at the graduation ceremony last night was inspiring. You are clearly a class full of kind and caring people.

To the class of 2031, congratulations on moving up to the Junior-Senior High. This is an exciting time for you as you move from elementary school to middle school. It is clear that you are all ready for new experiences and the increased independence that comes with being a middle schooler. Seeing your kindergarten school pictures at the 5th-grade celebration yesterday reminds us all of how quickly six years go by.

To the parents, guardians, and community volunteers of Newmarket, your unwavering support has been instrumental in the success of our students. The Newmarket schools thrive because of our strong community, and we are grateful for your contributions.

As we transition to summer break, I encourage everyone to rest, rejuvenate, and spend quality time with their loved ones. It's a well-deserved break, and I look forward to seeing you all refreshed and ready for the 24-25 school year.

The district is holding a Volunteer Fingerprinting event on Friday, August 16th, from 8:30 am to 6 pm at the JSHS Library. This event is by appointment only. Appointments are booked in 15-minute slots, so there will be little waiting time. Please schedule your appointment with Patty Banfield (292-7597 or banfieldp@newmarket.k12.nh.us) if you plan on volunteering in the schools in the 2024-25 school year. There will not be a fall fingerprinting event.

Congratulations everybody! Happy Summer.

Sincerely,
Todd Allen
Newmarket School District Superintendent
